The Federación Española de Call of Duty (FECOD) has partnered with Miami Heretics to create a new national competitive circuit, aiming to restore Call of Duty’s (COD) presence in Spain’s esports ecosystem.

Miami Heretics, the COD League arm of Team Heretics, has been one of the most recognisable Spanish organisations in the title’s ecosystem. According to FECOD, its involvement represents a “clear and determined” commitment to bring visibility back to Call of Duty in the country.

The circuit will be structured under a federated framework and is intended to provide regular opportunities for both established players and emerging talent. It will conclude with a LAN final at Team Heretics’ offices in Madrid.

“For FECOD, this agreement is much more than a collaboration. It is the confirmation that Call of Duty in Spain has a future, and that, alongside a historic club like Team Heretics, we can build a solid, lasting and exciting project for the community,” the federation stated in the announcement.

The two organisations described the alliance as the start of a new stage for the game in Spain, built on collaboration and the ambition to place Call of Duty once again at the centre of the national esports scene.
