German esports organisation GamerLegion, best known for its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team, officially announced that ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) has joined the team as its newest partner.
As part of the deal, ASUS ROG’s logo will now appear on the sleeves of GamerLegion players’ jerseys. Beyond that, neither organisation has released a formal statement explaining further details of the deal. Therefore, several details such as how long the partnership will last, whether it’s a multi-year agreement or something shorter, remain unknown at the moment. No financial terms have been shared, and there’s no word yet on which specific ASUS ROG products, if any, players will be using in competition or training.
GamerLegion stated in the official announcement post, “The Legion is for those who dare. We’re proud to welcome ASUS ROG as our newest partner, because competing at the highest level means having the best by your side.”
Initial announcements in esports sponsorships frequently focus on establishing brand alignment and initial visibility, with comprehensive partnership scope, commercial activations, and equipment provisions detailed in follow-up updates.
ASUS ROG already has similar partnerships with other esports organisations, including DRX/KIWOOM DRX, Cloud9, and Evil Geniuses. Those deals, which formed part of a broader push by endemic brands into esports sponsorships and partnerships across 2025 and 2026, typically center on high-end peripherals and monitors and, in some cases, full gaming systems.
The ASUS ROG deal adds to a list of existing GamerLegion partners. Skin.Club serves as the team’s official skin partner, Memory PC supplies hardware and PCs for the team’s gaming house, Backforce provides gaming chairs, and Leon.Bet has been a long-time sportsbook partner for GamerLegion‘s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team.
As with most early-stage sponsorship announcements, more details about the GamerLegion and ASUS ROG deal are likely to emerge in the coming weeks or months.
