Esports team Geek Fam Indonesia has announced that it has extended its partnership with smartphone brand Nubia Technology through Nubia Indonesia.

According to the team, the partnership will continue with a shared focus on performance, innovation, and long-term growth in the esports and gaming scene. Both sides also stated to be looking forward to creating more activities for their audience.

The partnership between Geek Fam and Nubia first started in January 2025. During the first year of collaboration, Geek Fam and nubia Indonesia organised several fan activities, including online tournaments, meet and greet sessions with players, and a campus tour. The spectators were also able to take part in special in-person activities featuring Geek Fam players.

Geek Fam is a premier A-Tier to B-Tier esports organisation that competes in a range of titles. According to Esports Earnings data, Geek Fam has earned around $1.1 million in prize money from 93 tournaments. Most of the winnings came from games such as Dota 2, Free Fire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile.

Nubia Technology is best known for its gaming phone brand called REDMAGIC. The company has been active in esports since launching the gaming brand in 2018. It works with esports teams and supports competitions to promote its gaming smartphones.

In the past, Nubia has partnered with teams such as Royal Never Give Up (RNG) and ONIC Philippines to showcase its gaming devices. Nubia has also supported regional events, including the Pinger.Pro Mobile League in 2025, as part of its efforts to increase its presence in the mobile gaming market.
