Hot Toys, a company known for making collectible figures, has signed on as the official sponsor of the Fortnite Global Championship 2026., to be held at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium, on 26-27 September.

The event organiser BLAST has confirmed that Hot Toys will have a presence both online and at the venue as part of the deal. The company further confirmed that fans can expect a “Legendary Drop” social media series highlighting Hot Toys products tied to Fortnite, along with a branded stand at the arena where attendees can see a Hot Toys display in person.

Hot Toys will also be featured throughout the event broadcast. This includes a daily segment highlighting one standout play from the competition, paired with a related collectible. Beyond the broadcast, the partnership will also extend to branding around the arena and across Fortnite Competitive’s official digital channels and Twitch stream.

More details about the specific collectibles and the setup at the venue are expected to be shared closer to the event.

James Brown, Commercial Director at BLAST, said, “We’re excited to welcome Hot Toys as an Official Sponsor of the Fortnite Global Championship and give fans new ways to engage with the partnership, both in Antwerp and through the global broadcast. From the Legendary Drop content series to the dedicated arena stand, Hot Toys will be a brilliant addition to the fan experience this September.”

Franck Dubois, CEO of Hot Toys Japan, said, “I actually play Fortnite daily for real; and even attended the FNCS Lyon Finals last year! As a long-time fan, it is an honor for Hot Toys to officially support FNCS. The community was craving higher-end merchandise, and Hot Toys is here to deliver. I hope that fans worldwide will recognise the love we put into these items. With their support, these will be the first of many Hot Toys Fortnite products for years to come.”

Hot Toys isn’t the only company betting on esports fans wanting physical collectibles. Across the industry, organisers and clubs are increasingly turning to physical collectibles as a way to diversify their income beyond ticket sales and standard sponsorship deals. Recent examples include the Esports World Cup (EWC), which partnered with Kolex to launch a line of collectible trading cards and also released an exclusive chess board featuring pro players Faker and Chovy, sold through an auction. The French esports organisation Gentle Mates has also launched its own line of trading card collectibles in July 2026.
