The CEO of Karmine Corp has explained the organisation’s decision not to add their team decal to Rocket League for the 2025 season, claiming that the deal offered “didn’t match the value of our brand.”
In the V2.51 Rocket League update, the latest RLCS decals arrived in the game, with 12 teams including NRG, Gen.G, Gentle Mates, and more.
One team that was not included, though, was Karmine Corp, despite the organisation’s popularity and success in Rocket League.
While surprising to fans, KCorp CEO Arthur Perticoz explained that it was their decision not to have a team decal.
“We decided not to accept the offer for the KCorp decal,” he said. “The amount offered did not reflect our perception of the value of our brand. In full transparency: the calculation method seems to be the same for each club.
“Before, it was based on sales with a percentage per purchase and on this side the year 2024 was bad: the decal did not look like our expectations (texture), the performances impacted our presence on the screen, not qualified for the second Major or the EWC so no live matches for months… the new system (a fixed offer) is only based on sales in 2024. We considered that it was unsuitable given our history.”
Perticoz added that discussions with Epic were “respectful but fruitless” and so they opted not to accept the offer presented to them. He also added that this decision “doesn’t erase the encouraging progress made by Blast and Epic in esports: event production, marketing deals for clubs, improved scheduling, and even the quality of trophies.”
Pas de decal KCORP en 2025 :

He went on to apologise to fans of the organisation but said that while there will be no decal, they will instead get “a shower of trophies” to celebrate.
The 2025 RLCS season has already started strongly for Karmine Corp, taking home the Birmingham Major trophy and an extra $100,000 with a dominant tournament victory.
