The Mineski Events Team, an esports event production team in Southeast Asia, has teamed up with Vizta, the publisher of the title, to host the Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series (MLMS) in India.
Moba Legends: 5v5 is the rebranded version of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang launched specifically for India after the government banned the original game in 2020 over security concerns. Vizta Games operates as a subsidiary or affiliated publisher for MOONTON Games, specifically handling the release of games in restricted markets like India.
The upcoming MLMS tournament will play an important role for the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) esports scene in India because as per the official release, the winner of MLMS will represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026, putting Indian Moba Legends talent on the global stage through an official national qualification route, in a move that mirrors Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) integration into the wider PUBG Mobile circuit.
The Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series will follow a multi-stage format, and its registrations will be open from March 10 to March 19. The Open Qualifiers will take place from March 23 to March 30 in which teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket, which will later move into best-of-three matches as the competition progresses. The top two teams from the qualifiers will advance to the League Stage.
The League Stage will run from April 5 to April 26 where the two qualifying teams will join six invited teams and compete in a single round-robin format. The top six teams will then advance to the MLMS Grand Finals, which will be held as a LAN event from May 9 to May 10. The finalists will compete for a share of the ₹46,00,000 prize pool (approx. $50,000) and the chance to become the first MLMS champion and represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026.

Tiger Xu, Global Head of MLBB Esports at Moonton Games and Global Head of Esports at Vizta Games, said, “The Moba Legends:5v5! Master Series aims to create a true competitive pathway for Indian MOBA players. From open qualifiers to a LAN grand final, the format ensures that talent from across the country has a fair shot at reaching the top. With a place at EWC 2026 on the line, MLMS is not just about crowning a champion, it’s about giving India’s best players the platform to prove themselves internationally.”
Raye Chong, VP of SEA Esports, Mineksi Events Team, said, “Moba Legends: Legends:5v5! has one of the most passionate player communities in India, and with the Moba Legends Master Series we are excited to help build a structured competitive pathway for Indian teams. MLMS is not just a tournament, it’s a step towards integrating India more deeply into the global MOBA esports ecosystem and giving our players a legitimate shot at representing the country on the international stage at the Esports World Cup.”
This isn’t the first esports event for Mineski Events Team. The company has previously been involved in flagship competitions like MPL and last year helped deliver the M7 World Championship in partnership with major brands like Red Bull and Visa.
