Kazakh Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player Danil molodoy Golubenko, currently playing for FURIA, has become the official Snickers ambassador in Kazakhstan.

The partnership follows the brand’s long-running “You’re not you when you’re hungry” campaign, which has also been adapted for gaming and esports audiences. In esports communities, fans often joke about players missing shots or losing focus because of hunger, especially in high-pressure situations.

Molodoy’s role as an aggressive AWP player makes him a fit for the campaign’s gaming-focused content. Although the company has not shared full details yet, it mentioned “joint projects,” which could include future videos, fan events, or special promotions related to esports in Kazakhstan.

The deal is only for Kazakhstan and is not a global partnership. No details about the contract value or length of the agreement have been made public yet. More details about the partnership and upcoming projects are expected to be announced in the coming weeks through molodoy’s social media and Snickers Kazakhstan channels.

The deal with Snickers come as molodoy grows his popularity in Kazakhstan and consolidates his status as one of the country’s biggest esports stars. His international success with FURIA, winning the HLTV Awards for “Rookie of the Year” in 2025, and strong connection with young gaming audiences, made him a compatible with a market-focused campaign. The announcement also comes at a fitting time as the player prepares for a tournament held in his home country, the PGL Astana 2026.

The new deal is part of Snickers’ larger esports strategy. Throughout the last decade, the brand has partnered with several esports organisations and events in the past, including LOUD, ELEAGUE, FlyQuest, the Rocket League Championship Series, and Madden NFL esports events.

Snickers has also worked with streamers, gaming creators, and esports leagues in different regions through campaigns built around “hunger tilt” and poor in-game performance caused by losing focus. One of Snickers’ biggest recent esports deals came from Brazil. In 2026, its partnership with LOUD’s Free Fire team expanded into a naming-rights agreement, with the roster rebranded as LOUD SNICKERS. The Brand also sponsors the Brazilian League of Free Fire (LBFF).
