Esports entrepreneurs Bertrand Amar and Matthieu Dallon have announced the creation of N.E.O. (NEW ESPORTS ORG.), a company dedicated to the design, organisation, and promotion of esports competitions in Europe.

Launched in Paris, the firm aims to become one of the main promoters in the sector within the next three years. According to the official announcement, the goal of the venture is to support game publishers in structuring their competitive circuits and developing sustainable formats.

The founders bring extensive historical experience to the venture. Amar, the former Head of Esports at Webedia, was responsible for launching the LFL (French League of Legends circuit) and the ES1 television channel, now MGG TV. Dallon is a Founding Partner of the Trust Esport Capital investment fund, which has invested in initiatives like Prodigy Agency, EVA, and Toornament.

Starting in 2026, N.E.O. will be in charge of several major international competitions. This includes EVO France, scheduled for 9 to 11 October in Nice, held in partnership with RTS and Qiddiya. The organisation has also secured partnerships with Riot Games to operate the League of Legends EMEA Masters and the women’s professional circuit, League of Legends Game Changers. Confirmed operations also involve the virtual reality circuit EVA Pro League in partnership with EVA.GG and international Rocket League operations alongside the organiser BLAST.

Furthermore, N.E.O. has secured the media rights for the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) in France, handling distribution for the event with the intention of working with a leading national broadcaster. Relevant to point out that N.E.O. is currently a candidate alongside the UFCEP (French Union of Professional Esports Clubs) to serve as the National Partner of the French Team for the ENC. The UFCEP represents a unified front of top French organisations, including Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, Gentle Mates, Solary, and Team BDS.

Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW) will return in 2026 with a bigger and bolder edition, taking place across 18–21 June in Cologne, Germany, alongside IEM Cologne. The schedule and details about ticket sales are available in this link.

Regarding the mission of the new organisation, Bertrand Amar stated: “The role of promoter is becoming central: designing competitions, financing them with brands and media rights, and producing them with respect for the communities. This is precisely the mission we are setting for ourselves with N.E.O.”

Matthieu Dallon added: “Esports remains one of the most promising segments of the video game industry. It fosters community development, stimulates in-game transactions, and generates new revenues linked to marketing and media rights. N.E.O.’s ambition is to maintain strategic relationships with all rights holders in the sector—studios, publishers, and international organizations—in order to operate their Esports programs and help sustainably structure the European ecosystem.”
