PlayVS has announced the renewal of its partnership with NASCAR and iRacing, extending its role as the exclusive partner for the 2025–26 eNASCAR College iRacing Series. The announcement also confirms that the upcoming season will mark the competition’s debut on the PlayVS platform, following the company’s acquisition of Playfly College Esports.
PlayVS, which describes itself as North America’s leading amateur esports platform, stated at the official press release that the continued partnership keeps aiming to support collegiate esports while creating career development and scholarship opportunities for students.
“Renewing our partnership with NASCAR and iRacing reflects our commitment to delivering competitive and meaningful esports experiences to college students across North America,” said Charles O’Donnell, Senior Director of College Esports at PlayVS. “The eNASCAR College iRacing Series is not just about virtual racing—it’s a launchpad for future talent in motorsports, gaming, and media.”
Ray Smith, Senior Director of Esports at NASCAR, added: “The eNASCAR College iRacing Series is more than just competition—it’s a foundational bridge between the collegiate esports ecosystem and the world of NASCAR.”
Launched in 2022, the eNASCAR College iRacing Series provides college students with the opportunity to compete in virtual stock car racing events using iRacing’s motorsport simulation software. The initiative has grown to include participants from over 300 institutions, with nearly 500 unique racers taking part.
The 2025–26 season is expected to feature a new competitive format, updated race times, and expanded prize offerings. More details will be shared later in the summer, according to PlayVS.
