NODWIN Gaming, an India-based leading esports and gaming entertainment company, has appointed Teemu Koski as its new Chief Business Officer for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In this role, Koski will manage the company’s regional expansion and boost NODWIN’s presence across the MENA esports market.

The announcement came via a LinkedIn post by Koski, whose profile also notes that he brings over two decades of expertise in esports, media, and telecommunications to the role. His appointment primarily highlights NODWIN Gaming’s goals to expand internationally and build up the competitive gaming scene in the MENA region, a market that generated $69 million in revenue in 2024 and is poised for 17.9% CAGR growth through 2030.

Most recently, Koski served as Chief Growth Officer at Dubai-based YaLLa Esports where he held the position of Vice President of Media Business. Koski’s career also includes a mentorship role with the E1H Innovation Hub, which is a United Arab Emirates-based platform supporting sports and entertainment startups where he helped founders in better operations execution, validating market fit, and building scalable business frameworks.

Prior to his esports ventures, Koski spent nearly 15 years with Finnish telecommunications giant Elisa where he served as Head of Elisa Esports.
