OffStrike, the first-ever tier-2 international Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament to be hosted in Pakistan, has announced a partnership with UK-based commercial and marketing agency Playmakers.
The partnership will see Playmakers support OffStrike with international marketing efforts and commercial negotiations as the landmark event prepares to welcome global teams, brands, and fans to Karachi, a city of over 18 million inhabitants.
OffStrike is a joint venture between Spotcomm Global and Vidermedia, created to deliver elite, professionally run esports experiences in emerging markets. The inaugural OffStrike tournament will take place at Dreamworld Resort in Karachi, positioning Pakistan on the international CS2 calendar for the first time at this competitive tier.

The event represents a milestone moment for esports in the region, featuring six professional teams, including four international teams—two from Europe and two from Asia outside Pakistan—competing for a significant prize pool. With a strong focus on production quality, competitive integrity, and fan experience, OffStrike aims to set a new benchmark for esports events in the country and region.
Pakistan is widely regarded as an exciting and largely untapped esports market, with a rapidly growing gaming community and increasing institutional support. Recent developments, such as the planned rollout of a National Esports Policy demonstrate the country’s commitment to formalising and accelerating its esports ecosystem. The potential of competitive talent in Pakistan is already well documented in other esports titles, not least in the fighting games scene with Arslan Ash, winner of multiple EVO championships and currently competing for Red Bull Gaming and Saudi organisation Twisted Minds.
OffStrike offers brands a rare opportunity to engage early with this fast-growing market through a high-profile international event. Pakistan has a population of roughly 170 million under the age of 30, or an estimated 65-70% of the total population, a significantly higher percentage than the global average of 52%.

As part of the broader ecosystem around the tournament, The Esports Radar will serve as an official media partner, providing international coverage and industry insights around the event.
Muhammad Mohsin, CEO of Vidermedia, stated: “OffStrike is an international Tier-2 Counter-Strike 2 tournament platform created to bring high-level competitive esports to Pakistan. Developed as a joint venture between Spotcomm Global and Vidermedia, OffStrike focuses on delivering professionally run events that connect global teams, brands, and fans, while positioning Pakistan as a credible destination on the international CS2 competitive calendar.”
OffStrike was created to demonstrate Pakistan’s ability to host world-class Counter-Strike events that resonate on the global stage. Partnering with Playmakers is a key step in ensuring this event is positioned correctly internationally not just as a tournament, but as a clear statement of intent for the region. Together, we’re focused on delivering a premium competitive and broadcast experience that teams, partners, and fans can trust.
Alfie Wright, CEO of Playmakers, noted: “We’re proud to be supporting what looks set to be a milestone event for esports in Pakistan. With Esports Nations Cup on the horizon this year and with support and interest from government at a national level, this is a major opportunity for esports and gaming in Pakistan, and in turn for marketeers and brands to get involved and reach these audiences, as well as supporting from the beginning of OffStrike. Anyone wanting to find out more or get involved, come and chat with us!”.
Sam Cooke, CEO of The Insights Group (The Esports Radar), added: “Having had the pleasure of visiting the country myself several times I’m excited for us to be supporting the OffStrike team on this event. Esports is a global phenomenon, and given the demographics of the population the potential in Pakistan is huge. We’ll be doing all we can via The Esports Radar in our position as official media partner to support the team in delivering a premium event in Karachi this March. We encourage everyone to follow along.”
