OverActive Media has extended its agreement with peripheral brand SCUF Gaming for a seventh consecutive season, retaining the company as the official controller partner for its Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise, Toronto KOI.
The deal encompasses the Call of Duty League season and includes the launch of a new controller design featuring the KOI dragon motif.
The partnership renewal arrives in the wake of OverActive Media’s decision to rebrand its CDL franchise from Toronto Ultra to Toronto KOI—a strategic move unveiled in late 2025 to unify the company’s North American and European operations, Movistar KOI, under a single international identity. The rebranding initiative, which included a full digital transition of social media handles and website assets, was designed to consolidate the organisation’s fanbase across regions and streamline partner integration.
At the time of the rebrand’s launch, OverActive confirmed that existing sponsors including Bell, Blacklyte, AMD, SCUF, and Monster Energy would remain affiliated with the newly named franchise.

The renewal was shared by OverActive Media Chief Commercial Officer for the Americas Neil Duffy via LinkedIn, who emphasised the collaborative nature of the extended relationship, citing the involvement of multiple stakeholders across both organisations. “Excited for what we will do together in 2027 at events around the world,” he wrote, hinting on the new deal lenght.
The seven-year tenure between OverActive and SCUF now ranks among the lengthiest ongoing supplier relationships in the Call of Duty League ecosystem.
