The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially announced the addition of PUBG Mobile to the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026. The tournament, set to take place from 3 November to 8 November 2026, will see 128 players representing 32 countries battle in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As one of the most successful mobile titles in history, PUBG Mobile marks the 15th game confirmed for the inaugural ENC, leaving just one final title to be revealed for the 16-game roster.
Qualification for the event relies heavily on the newly established PUBG Mobile National Team Ranking, which has become standard in nearly all titles confirmed for the ENC. This system evaluates performance from the 2025 World Cup and Global Championship (PMGC), as well as the 2026 Global Open (PMGO). Points earned by clubs are shared among participating teammates, and the final national ranking will accumulate the points of the top four players on a country’s submitted roster. The cut-off for these rankings is set for 7 June 2026.

The competition will utilize a multi-stage format designed to test endurance and tactical consistency. The first stage will feature all 32 teams divided into four groups of eight for a round-robin stage. The top four teams from each group will then advance to a 16-team Grand Final. This final phase will consist of up to 18 matches using the high-stakes “Smash” point system to crown the national champion.
The inclusion of PUBG Mobile follows the deep strategic involvement of KRAFTON, the owner of the PUBG IP, and Tencent, the developer and publisher of the mobile game. Both are Founding Partners of the Esports Nations Cup alongside other industry giants like EA and Ubisoft.
The mobile title is the second KRAFTON game to join the 2026 roster. The game’s PC predecessor, PUBG: Battlegrounds, has already been confirmed for the competition, scheduled to take place during the second week of the event. By featuring both mobile and PC iterations of PUBG, plus Apex Legends, the ENC shows high interest in battle royale competitions.
