Riot Games has officially detailed the schedule, structural format, and commercial sponsor portfolio for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas 2026 Stage 2. Scheduled to kick off on July 16, 2026, the tournament serves as the final qualification runway for regional teams aiming to secure one of four available slots at VALORANT Champions Shanghai.
Marking a significant departure from previous iterations, the upcoming stage marks the first time tier-one franchised organisations will share an integrated tournament structure with ascending tier-two Challengers rosters during the Play-In phase.

The publisher has retained an extensive lineup of hardware, lifestyle, and consumer brands to anchor the season’s operational costs and digital broadcast presence. Energy drink giant Red Bull returns as the presenter of the “Clutch Moment” broadcast segments. Enduring hardware partners Secretlab and Pulsar remain signed as the official providers of players’ seating and peripheral gear respectively. Telecommunications provider Verizon continues its sponsorship of premium video packages and digital items via its proprietary rewards program, while ExpressVPN joins the roster to execute specialized fan drops and promote online security incentives.
Tech manufacturer HP serves as the official hardware provider, leveraging its OMEN desktops and laptops with HyperX headsets. ZOWIE joins the commercial league portfolio under a new multi-year partnership as the Official Monitor Partner. Additionally, Samsung steps in as the Official Home Entertainment Partner for both VCT Americas and the LCS, integrating its consumer audio and television lines directly into the live broadcast and venue properties.
The competition will culminate in the VCT Americas Finals hosted at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo, Brazil, from September 4 to 6, breaking the league’s historical tradition of concluding seasonal playoffs exclusively in Los Angeles.
Similarly to the structural changes rolling out across the parallel VCT EMEA division, this cross-tier integration acts as an operational prelude to Riot Games’ planned 2027 competitive overhaul. By blending local Challenger teams into the active Stage 2 ecosystem, the regional circuit begins its transition away from the franchise-league model implemented back in 2023. The incoming framework will make way for a performance-driven “Tournament-First” global tour operating across 16 major international cities.
