The Swiss Esports Federation (SESF) has officially designated Panoramahotel Braunwald as an approved SESF Esports House partner to provide dedicated training infrastructure for professional teams.

The partnership, announced in February 2026 following a testing phase by members, aims to offer national and international organisations a flexible environment for intensive bootcamps.

To incentivise the use of the new facility, the federation has introduced a financial support system through its Esports Hub platform. Teams booking the Panoramahotel Braunwald will receive a partner discount alongside a dedicated cashback incentive provided by the SESF. This move is part of the broader Swiss Esports House project, which focuses on establishing a network of vetted locations that meet the specific technical requirements of modern competitive gaming, such as high-speed connectivity and ergonomic workstations.

By integrating high-performance gaming facilities with on-site accommodation and wellness programmes, the SESF states an objective of lowering the barrier for professional preparation while ensuring players maintain a necessary balance between competition and recovery.

Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW) will return in 2026 with a bigger and bolder edition, taking place across 18–21 June in Cologne, Germany, alongside IEM Cologne. The schedule and details about ticket sales are available in this link.

In a statement regarding the partnership’s focus on athlete welfare, the SESF noted:

“Strategic growth happens where focus meets recovery. Following a successful testing phase by our members, the venue has proven it offers the ideal infrastructure for national and international teams looking to elevate their game.”

The collaboration reflects an accelerating trend within the global hospitality sector to integrate esports and gaming into traditional hotel portfolios. For instance, Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) announced in 2025 a series of strategic partnerships with Cyberlabs and UNEVN to deploy portable gaming stations and redesign luxury spaces for content creation.

Similarly, major brands like Hilton served as the official hotel partner for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, while Radisson Hotel Group has launched its own “Esports Ready” programme and collaborated with NOVO Esports to expand its presence in the competitive gaming industry.

Regional players are also capitalising on this intersection; Thon Hotel Oslo Airport is currently hosting the De_Airport Masters, a Tier-2 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, through its partnership with Esplay.
