YaLLa Compass has reportedly begun bankruptcy proceedings. The tournament organiser posted a brief message on X stating that “the YaLLa Compass journey has come to an end,” without offering any further details. In its profile at the same social media, plus in the official website, it reads that “YaLLa Compass has concluded its journey”.
The Dubai-based organisation has staged only one LAN event to date — YaLLa Compass 2024 in Abu Dhabi — which was won by The MongolZ. In April 2025, its planned Qatar edition was moved online due to a scheduling conflict with the BLAST.tv Austin Major’s MRQ. The prize pool was also cut in half, dropping from $600,000 to $300,000.
According to HLTV, sources close to the matter confirmed the company has filed for bankruptcy. Counter-Strike 2 player Alexandru “s0und” Stefan, from Romanian team Nexus, publicly urged the tournament organiser to “end the journey after paying the money you owe.”
In June 2025, the company announced ambitious expansion plans for its YaLLa Contenders and Compass circuits, including additional seasons and long-term event commitments. The recent statement made no mention of YaLLa Compass UAE, which had been set to take place in Dubai from 19–23 November 2025.
The Esports Radar has contacted the company and will provide updates as the story develops.
