Game data platform GRID has launched GRID Stream, a new system for sportsbooks to have greater control and a more reliable viewing experience for esports bettors. The service delivers low-latency, ad-free video feeds synced in real time with GRID’s official esports data.

Unlike traditional embeds from platforms like Twitch or YouTube, GRID Stream offers betting operators full ownership over the video experience, eliminating the risks associated with buffering, stream delays, or off-brand advertising. The aim is to enhance live esports betting by ensuring fans can watch and wager without interruptions.

“Esports bettors aren’t just watching passively; they’re actively engaging, analysing, and wagering in real time,” said Klas Roseqvist, Senior Sales Manager at GRID. “If the stream lags or cuts out – especially during key moments – it’s not just a poor user experience. It often leads to users abandoning their bets and returning to the original streaming platform. GRID Stream solves that, offering operators faster, more engaging, and more reliable betting experiences – without the limitations of third-party embeds.”

The launch reflects the growing demand for more seamless and immersive integrations between live esports content and betting platforms. GRID Stream is now available globally to partners through GRID’s Media Player or via custom integrations. It supports both RTMP and HLS, giving operators flexibility in how they implement the solution.

With GRID Stream, the company aims to improve esports betting experience, helping sportsbooks deliver real-time, data-driven engagement without relying on third-party video services.
