The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) has signed a three-year partnership with Omnic.AI, a company that builds data and analytics tools for esports players and coaches.

Under the deal, Omnic.AI becomes NACE’s exclusive “Official Performance Intelligence Partner,” meaning it will be the association’s designated provider of performance analytics for member schools.

Omnic.AI’s main product is a platform called Omnic Forge. In simple terms, it watches recordings of gameplay and automatically pulls out useful information, things like how accurately a player is aiming, how their performance changes over time, and other statistics that coaches would otherwise have to dig up by hand.

The partnership materials are clear that the tool is meant to support coaches, not replace them. The data is there to help a coaching staff make decisions, like which mechanics a player should drill or how someone’s performance has trended across a season, rather than to automate coaching itself.

The partnership terms also mention that NACE will introduce its member programs to the Omnic Forge platform. Beyond that, Omnic.AI will have a visible presence at NACE’s major events, including the NACE National Convention and the NACE Championship LANs, and will be worked into NACE’s social media and broadcast coverage.

NACE is the main governing body for varsity esports programs at U.S. colleges and universities, and this deal gives Omnic.AI a formal role across that entire network for at least the next three years.

Riley Long, Executive Director of NACE, said, “Varsity esports programs are increasingly looking for accessible tools to elevate their competitive edge and streamline student athlete development. By partnering with Omnic.AI, we look forward to championing the importance of analytics within our industry by providing access to industry-leading intelligence technology. This partnership will provide our coaches with the data-driven insights necessary to refine their strategies and help student-athletes identify opportunities for improvement.”

Shubber Ali, CEO of Omnic.AI, said, “Collegiate esports is entering a new era in which coaches and programs need the same depth of performance intelligence available in traditional sports. Our partnership with NACE will give coaches objective, actionable insights that help them develop players more effectively, identify emerging talent, and build stronger programs. Omnic Forge is not designed to replace the judgment of a great coach, but to amplify it by turning hours of gameplay into intelligence they can immediately use.”

The Omnic.AI deal also follows a string of similar moves NACE has made over the past year to round out what it offers member schools. NACE previously announced a partnership with InTouch Credit Union (ITCU), naming it the association’s Official Financial Services Partner, and around the same time appointed Raven as its official merchandise partner to help strengthen the commercial side of member schools’ programs.
