The Call of Duty League (CDL) has officially welcomed digital engagement platform PlayerX as the official Presenting Partner for the 2026 Championship Weekend. The commercial collaboration embeds the platform directly into the season’s ultimate competitive showcase, which is currently taking place from July 16–19, 2026, live at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As the primary presenting sponsor for the event, PlayerX is deploying a suite of interactive features specifically engineered for the tournament audience. The activation centers around a specialised fantasy gaming hub, allowing users to draft customised lineups using real, active Call of Duty League professional players.
To streamline the fan experience, PlayerX has integrated real-time statistics tracking and official live match streams directly into its ecosystem, enabling viewers to monitor their fantasy squads dynamically alongside the main broadcast.

Financial parameters and further operational details regarding the agreement were not disclosed by either PlayerX or the Call of Duty League operation.
The deployment of real-time fantasy assets arrives during the most critical weekend on the Activision esports calendar. While the top eight qualified franchised teams battle through a double-elimination bracket for a prize pool of $2 million, secondary activations like with PlayerX can become complimentary tools for sustaining viewer retention by combining interactive engagement with direct broadcast delivery. The CDL 2026 Championship Weekend production is handled by the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG).
Developed by World Champion Fantasy, Inc. (WCF), PlayerX defines itself as an “all-in-one fan engagement destination”.
