The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has announced the renewal and expansion of two major partnerships ahead of the 2025 edition of the Esports World Cup (EWC), set to return to Riyadh from 7 July to 24 August. Albaik and Aramco will continue their respective collaborations with EWCF, contributing to the event’s community outreach, fan engagement, and competitive innovation.
Albaik, a household name in Saudi Arabia since 1974, has renewed its partnership for a second consecutive year. The fast-food chain will again play a role in enriching the on-site experience for fans and players. Albaik’s continued involvement aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting a shared commitment with EWCF to community development and national growth through esports.
Meanwhile, Aramco has entered a three-year renewal and expansion of its partnership with EWCF. As title partner of the upgraded Aramco SIM Arena, the energy company will deepen its integration into the event, leveraging its motorsports initiatives to engage fans in interactive racing experiences. The SIM Arena will offer visitors immersive challenges designed to replicate the thrill of a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
In addition to the arena, Aramco will introduce the Aramco Esports Championship, which will run in two “seasons” during the seven-week tournament. Weekly online races will lead to a live finale at the Aramco SIM Arena, with top participants competing for a chance to join a driver development programme at the Aston Martin Esports HQ at Silverstone.
Another new initiative for 2025 is the Aramco Power Rankings, where selected game experts will share pre-match predictions for each title in the tournament. Fans will be encouraged to engage via broadcast and social media, contributing to an expanded digital interaction layer for the event.
