Brazilian connectivity platform ExitLag has announced a sponsorship agreement with Alpha7, one of the leading mobile esports organisations in the Americas. The partnership begins with Alpha7’s participation in the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC).

As part of the agreement, the ExitLag brand will be featured on Alpha7’s official PUBG Mobile team jersey during the tournament.

“Sponsoring Alpha7 represents an important step in ExitLag’s presence at large-scale tournaments with global visibility, focusing on the mobile audience,” said Lucas Stolze, CEO of ExitLag. “We want to be close to the athletes and communities that drive this ecosystem every day.”

The move is part of ExitLag’s broader strategy to expand its footprint within the esports ecosystem, strengthen its global presence, and capitalise on the EWC’s international reach — even though the company is not one of the event’s official partners.

In addition to Alpha7, ExitLag also sponsors paiN Gaming, another Brazilian organisation it has been partnered with since late 2024. paiN Gaming will compete in the Free Fire tournament at the EWC. The company is also backing Chinese organisation Talon Esports, whose Dota 2 team, Flipster Talon, will display ExitLag branding during the event.

ExitLag will further enhance its visibility at the EWC through Brazilian influencer Eric “Ericat” Teixeira, who will be on-site producing content and activations. Ericat, founder of esports outlet Mais Esports, is primarily known for his coverage of the League of Legends scene.

“It’s not just about putting our name on a jersey. We want to spark conversation, create impact, and foster a sense of belonging,” Stolze added. “Supporting Brazilian teams like Alpha7 and paiN Gaming, as well as China’s Talon Esports, is a way to show our brand is globally connected. And there’s no better stage for that than a tournament that brings all regions together.”
