Esports organisation Fnatic has announced that its performance hardware line, Fnatic Gear, will now operate under Sony’s gaming gear brand, INZONE.
The move follows a nine-year history of product development, with over a million units sold globally according to a press release. INZONE had previously entered a global partnership with Fnatic in 2023, acting as the official gaming headset and monitor partner.
“This is a milestone moment for us,” said Sam Mathews, CEO of Fnatic. “Fnatic Gear was born to serve our players and fans with tools that give them a competitive edge. After nearly a decade, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved — and now, we’re thrilled to take things to the next level with INZONE. This is the culmination of two years of deep collaboration with Sony’s team, and it opens the door to even more innovation for our community.”
Over the past two years, Fnatic’s professional players and content creators have worked with Sony engineers to support the development of INZONE products. Existing Fnatic Gear products will continue to be supported.
“Our collaboration with Fnatic has been a powerful driver in shaping the future of INZONE,” said Hiroaki Fujii, Head of the Gaming Business Office at INZONE. “We’ve been inspired by their commitment to performance and community. As Fnatic Gear joins the INZONE family, we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries together.”
The integration of Fnatic Gear into INZONE is based on combining Fnatic’s experience in gaming hardware with Sony’s research and development capabilities and international distribution network.
