NODWIN Gaming has announced the fourth edition of the PlayStation India Cup, an esports tournament that will feature EA FC 26 and be played exclusively on the PS5 console.

The tournament will conclude with a live grand finale at the Delhi Comic Con on the 7th of December 2025. With a prize pool of ₹4,00,000 (approximately $4,500), the event is positioned as India’s only official console esports tournament, a notable offering in a national market where mobile gaming esports are the most prominent format.

The structure will involve daily online qualifiers, followed by an online playoffs stage. The top eight players from this process will advance to compete at the physical finale, which will be held at the NSIC Grounds in Okhla, New Delhi, as part of the Delhi Comic Con.

This collaboration is not the first recent business engagement between the tournament organiser and PlayStation owner Sony. NODWIN Gaming previously acquired Sony’s stake in the renowned fighting game festival, Evo, earlier this year.

Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, commented on the event, stating: “The console esports scene in India is a premium niche, and the PlayStation India Cup with EA FC captures that perfectly. Delhi Comic Con, where our journey began over a decade ago, provides the ideal stage, bringing together fans who love both pop culture and competitive gaming.”

The announcement highlighted that the previous edition’s finals, held at Delhi Comic Con 2024, featured an immersive PlayStation pavilion which saw strong engagement from attendees. For this year’s finalists, in addition to a share of the prize money, all participants will receive official PlayStation merchandise.

Prospective competitors can register for the tournament directly through their PS5 consoles, with registrations opening on the 8th of October 2025. The tournament’s promotion will be supported by influencer-led content, live streams, and weekly updates.
