Tokyo-based advertising marketing company CyberZ just announced a new partnership with G2 Esports, one of Europe’s most popular esports teams, and its creative arm, 62 Media House. The primary goal of this partnership is to expand CyberZ’s reach across Europe and North America by collaborating on influencer marketing, talent management, and brand support.

G2, based in Berlin, has a massive following in both Europe and North America, with a reputation for creative content and strong brand partnerships. Its marketing division, 62 Media House, will work closely with CyberZ to give Japanese entertainment brands, especially those tied to games, manga, and anime, major reach across several countries.

A spokesperson from CyberZ stated, “CyberZ will leverage the network of G2 Esports, which enjoys immense popularity in North America and Europe, and its marketing team, 62 Media House, to strengthen its marketing support for Japanese entertainment IP businesses, including games, manga, and anime.”

CyberZ has been present in the industry since 2009, originally focusing on smartphone advertising. The organisation, in fact, also hosts one of Japan’s biggest esports events, RAGE. CyberZ’s next major plan is to go global, which is why they decided to team up with G2 Esports in order to expand their reach.

Alongside CyberZ’s new deal with G2, we’ve also seen Japan’s SBI Group team up with Hawk Group on esports projects in Tokyo and Riyadh, which clearly points out that Japanese companies are investing heavily in international esports partnerships to grow their presence worldwide.

G2 has recently made a major move into Japanese culture through the release of ‘Red Aura’, an original fantasy-action webcomic series made in collaboration with Japanese Art Director Runbel and KISAI Entertainment. The original IP debuted on 31st October 2025 in Japan on the LINE MANGA platform.
