Miami-based advertising company XDOTG Media has confirmed an exclusive agreement with Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) to operate and manage the Vancouver Surge, CSE’s Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise.

Starting next year, XDOTG will handle pretty much everything behind the scenes, from running the team and managing players to producing content, building the brand, and connecting with the local community.

XDOTG’s founder, Alex Gonzalez said in the announcement post, “I’m excited to bring XDOTG’s expertise across talent, content, and culture to strengthen the Vancouver Surge brand. Our focus will be on building a competitive, sustainable, and community-driven organisation that represents Vancouver with pride.”

According to a TEA report, XDOTG is bringing in a fresh crew of familiar faces from the competitive scene. RickyAturaLugo will serve as Head Coach and General Manager, with JadenKazboKurtz joining in as Creative Director and NateSwagcheckedBetancourt taking over as Brand Manager. All three were previously part of OMiT, a tier-2 Call of Duty and Warzone organisation.

Gonzalez is no stranger to the CDL, too, having previously run Luminosity Gaming back when it co-owned the Seattle Surge, the team that’s since been rebranded to Vancouver Surge. However, XDOTG itself is still a young company, having launched just a couple of months ago, in September 2025. Gonzalez founded it with a few former Enthusiast Gaming execs shortly after Enthusiast sold off its Luminosity assets to Vertiqal Studios.
