Norwegian esports club Metizport has officially announced the appointment of Perry Smith as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
The club said 2025 has been a strong year of growth, and the new hire is part of its plan to build a stronger commercial setup and expand its partnerships. As a result, Perry’s primary responsibility at Metizport is to establish a stronger commercial structure within the company, grow the brand, and help the organisation form new partnerships to expand its footprint in the esports world.

In the official LinkedIn post, Metizport’s CEO, Arjan Sydhagen Dalsøren, stated, “Onboarding Perry as our first Chief Commercial Officer marks a major milestone for us. It shows that we’re moving in the right direction as a company. Perry brings a wealth of experience, and I’m confident he will play a key role in taking Metizport to the next level, developing new partnerships and creating additional revenue streams along the way.”
Perry himself also shared a few words about his new position, “I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined Metizport as their new Chief Commercial Officer. Together with an ambitious team, I look forward to driving growth, creating exciting partnerships and growing the brand – all at a place where gaming matters.”
Smith joins Metizport after working as Head of Business Strategy at VANGUARD, where he was involved in the Esports World Cup (EWC) and managed the commercial, marketing and PR teams. He has also held senior roles at F1 Arcade, Verasity, Hotdrop, Right Formula, GINX TV, and Multiplay.
