Electronic music dance event Sunburn Festival has partnered with esports organisation Revenant Esports to create ‘Game The Beat’, a new initiative aiming to merge music and gaming culture for Indian youth. The collaboration will debut at the Sunburn Festival 2025, scheduled for 19th to 21st December at Infiniti Bay in Mumbai.
The partnership seeks to bridge the worlds of music and gaming to create a new lifestyle experience, leveraging Revenant’s digital community and Sunburn’s large-scale festival energy.
The initiative is designed to cater to a generation whose interests span multiple entertainment formats. For Sunburn Festival, the alliance provides a year-round digital presence by tapping into Revenant Esports’ online following. Conversely, the festival offers Revenant a significant platform to connect with music, fashion, and lifestyle enthusiasts.

The activity will unfold across multiple phases, both online and at the physical event. Plans include Sunburn-branded gaming events, custom lobbies, and a mini-series following creators from gaming bootcamps to the festival stage. The on-ground experience at Sunburn 2025 will feature a dedicated Gaming Arena with live tournaments, meet-and-greets, and interactive experiences. The collaboration is projected to generate an estimated 3-5 million in digital reach.

Revenant recently announced a partnership with Monster Energy and made another move into expanding its reach beyond gaming by securing a licensing deal for Naruto-themed merchandise. The organisation fields rosters in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), VALORANT, Free Fire, Pokémon Unite, and Brawl Stars.
Sunburn is one of Asia’s largest electronic music festivals. Its 2025 edition in Mumbai is headlined by renowed DJ David Guetta.
