The French organisation Gentle Mates has completed the full rebrand of its Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise, moving the team from Los Angeles to Paris. The shift, which sees the former LA Guerrillas officially become the Paris Gentle Mates ahead of the Black Ops 7 season, establishes the league’s newest European-backed team.
The move was undertaken to fully align the CDL slot with the French organisation’s identity and its fanbase. However, the announced roster remains full American with Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe, Dylan “Envoy” Hannon, Daunte “Sib” Gray, and Travis “Neptune” McCloud.

This change is part of a wider period of geographical realignment for the Call of Duty League. The 2026 season is set to feature several other franchise moves, including the Minnesota Rokkr becoming G2 Minnesota and Atlanta FaZe relocating to Las Vegas to become FaZe Vegas. Furthermore, the spot previously held by the Vegas Falcons moved to Saudi Arabia through newly branded Riyadh Falcons.
Also, following the wider moment for rebrands, OverActive Media has unified its global esports portfolio under the KOI banner with the launch of Toronto KOI, rebranding its CDL franchise.
