Monster Energy has been officially announced as the Title Partner for the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, formalising a visible collaboration that had been active since the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament began. The deal was announced partway through the event’s third stage.

The partnership between the energy drink brand and the tournament organiser, StarLadder, was publicly formalised on 5th December. This was during Stage 3 of the Major, although Monster branding and promotional content had been heavily featured throughout the tournament’s official broadcast since its first day on 24th November.

In the announcement, StarLadder cited Monster’s history within the scene. “Monster Energy has a long and influential legacy in Counter-Strike, and it is a great honor for us to announce them as the Title Sponsor of the StarLadder Budapest Major,” said Andrew Yatsenko, Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at StarLadder.

The agreement continues Monster Energy’s established presence in the esports sector, where it has been involved for over a decade. The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, featuring a $1,250,000 prize pool, concludes on 14th December.
