Esports entertainment network BLAST announced Midas France, an automotive service chain, as the official car service partner of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) French broadcast feed for the remainder of the 2026 season.

The integration will feature branded segments, broadcast features, and digital activations specifically aimed at engaging the game’s highly active French audience. According to official communications, the goal of the sponsorship is to increase Midas’s brand awareness among younger demographics.

The partnership will encompass major upcoming events, including the RLCS Major in Paris in May, the online European qualifiers, and the Rocket League World Championship later in the year.

France has rapidly transformed into a premier hub for elite Rocket League competition. The country previously hosted the Rocket League World Championship 2025 in Lyon last September, drawing nearly 10,000 fans to the LDLC Arena. Tapping into this dedicated regional ecosystem was a major driver for the collaboration with Midas.

Regarding the brand’s entry into the space, Ludovic Dugabelle, Marketing Director at Midas France, stated: “This partnership with RLCS fully aligns with our strategy to increase Midas’s brand awareness among new audiences, particularly young people… The world of Rocket League, centered around cars and performance, naturally resonates with our expertise. Being associated with a large-scale event, followed by such an engaged community, is a great source of pride for us.”

For James Brown, Commercial Director at BLAST, “this partnership is a great example of how leading French brands are connecting with Rocket League’s dedicated fanbase through our growing esports ecosystem.”

The activation resonates with a previously announced partnership in February, where BLAST and Epic GamesPsyonix welcomed tyre manufacturer Michelin as an official partner of the global RLCS circuit. For a game literally designed around rocket-powered cars, the entry of actual car service and automotive supply brands marks a long-anticipated evolution in its commercial appeal.
