American esports organisation Evil Geniuses has officially announced a multi-year partnership with gaming hardware brand ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG).

As part of the deal, ASUS ROG becomes the official partner of Evil Geniuses in North America. The partnership will cover several product categories, including gaming monitors, routers, and gaming gear such as keyboards, headsets, and mice.

The official announcement states that Evil Geniuses’ training facilities will be equipped with ASUS ROG hardware. This includes ROG OLED gaming monitors and WiFi 7 gaming routers. EG players will also use the latest ROG keyboards, headsets, and mice during long practice sessions.

For ASUS ROG, their branding will appear on Evil Geniuses team jerseys and across its Los Angeles training facilities, as well as on its digital and social media platforms.

The partnership will also include fan-focused activities. These include original video content, giveaways, and a new EGWins promotion that rewards fans when Evil Geniuses wins important matches. Finally, Evil Geniuses players will also appear at ROG events and retail activations as a part of this agreement.

Chris DeAppolonio, CEO of Evil Geniuses, said, “This partnership represents the convergence of two gaming institutions that have shaped the industry for decades by daring to push boundaries. ASUS ROG has been synonymous with performance and innovation for 20 years, driven by the same relentless pursuit of excellence that has defined Evil Geniuses for the last 27 years. Both organizations believe in empowering champions, whether that’s through groundbreaking technology or fostering diverse talent that reflects the true face of gaming.”

Ernest Cheng, Director of Marketing at ASUS, said, “Competitive gaming demands technology that performs without compromise. Working alongside Evil Geniuses allows us to validate our latest ROG technologies in real-world competitive environments, ensuring that every product we deliver meets the expectations of professional players and enthusiasts alike.”

Besides working with big brands, Evil Geniuses have also been teaming up with sports clubs and players to grow their competitive presence. One recent example is their partnership with Austin FC, where they’re competing in eMLS and the global EA FC Pro circuit. On top of that, EG also teamed up with their creator and speedrunner Anthony “Couriway” Salzarulo to launch a new competitive Minecraft event called Gridlock.
