ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) UK has announced a 12-month renewal of its event partnership with EPIC.LAN, the United Kingdom’s largest LAN party network. The extension, which officially commences with the upcoming EPIC48 event, marks the third consecutive year of collaboration between the hardware manufacturer and the British grassroots gaming organiser.
As part of the renewed agreement, ROG will take over as the headline sponsor for EPIC.LAN’s flagship Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament, providing direct financial backing to expand competitive prize pools and introduce dedicated tournament MVP awards.
The tournament operates as one of the largest Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) Counter-Strike events globally, serving as a developmental pathway for regional teams navigating the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).
Beyond the esports track, ROG will establish on-site experiential zones at EPIC.LAN’s two larger iterations scheduled for October 2026 and February 2027, showcasing components, screens, and peripherals alongside community activations.

Jon Winkle, Managing Director of EPIC.LAN, stated that the multi-event commitment will be “a key part of our community LAN events for the next 12 months,”and that ASUS will be helping EPIC.LAN to raise the bar on this important event in the Counter-Strike 2A ecosystem.”
Grace Avey, ASUS Gaming & Consumer Marketing Lead, added that the ongoing alignment aims to continuously supply the next generation of regional players with tournament-ready hardware during high-stakes tournament moments.
The upcoming EPIC48 gathering, scheduled to take place from July 16–19, 2026, at the Kettering Leisure Village, will also feature the deployment of hardware from Intel Corporation. Intel previously secured a renewal of its own separate headline partnership with EPIC.LAN for the remainder of 2026, compounding the technical infrastructure available for both community-level competition and live consumer demonstrations.
