Tournament organiser and esports promotion company NODWIN Gaming has teamed up with data infrastructure provider Runestone in a sponsorship deal for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Championship Tour (MCT) AMER 2026.

The partnership embeds Runestone directly into the tournament’s visual identity, providing in-map branding and integration across all live broadcast assets. The unified circuit represents a major restructuring of the competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) landscape in the Americas, consolidating North America, Latin America, and Brazil into a singular qualification pathway for the upcoming Mid Season Cup (MSC).

The collaboration addresses a critical requirement for scalable data infrastructure as mobile competitive gaming regains traction globally. According to market data, mobile esports currently accounts for more than half of all global competitive gaming viewership. This alignment mirrors recent expansions seen in the mobile arena, such as Electronic Arts’ launch of the FC Pro Mobile circuit.

“Our partnership with Runestone is built around a shared focus on long-term ecosystem development, operational reliability, and scalable data infrastructure for esports,” stated Teemu Koski, Chief Business Officer at NODWIN Gaming MENA & Global Head of Data Monetization. “As competitive gaming continues to professionalise globally, strong integrity and real-time data capabilities become increasingly important for tournament operators, partners, and fan engagement.”

“Extending our work with NODWIN into MLBB across the Americas is a natural next step in a relationship built on our shared ambition to deliver best-in-class esports experiences. As mobile esports continues to grow in this region, the infrastructure underneath it needs to keep pace: real-time data, broadcast-integrated fan experiences, and the operational reliability that players, teams, and fans can trust,” added Michael Schwartz, Head of Partnerships at Runestone.

The activation follows a parallel expansion for Runestone in the mobile sector, having recently secured a year-long partnership with European mobile esports organiser SURGE aimed at professionalising the MLBB ecosystem across the EMEA region. Beyond mobile, Runestone maintains an established presence in PC titles like Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Dota 2 through an ongoing partnership with PGL.

Furthermore, the MCT AMER deal marks a continuation of Runestone’s involvement within NODWIN’s broader competitive network, following its role as an official sponsor of the Budapest CS2 Major 2025, an event operated by NODWIN-owned StarLadder.

The Americas have emerged as a high-priority territory, with the United States mobile market projected at $44.2 billion in 2026, while Latin America records the fastest user base expansion worldwide according to data provided by Runestone.

According to a press release, since kicking off on 16 April 2026, the MCT AMER Split 1 tournament has already attracted significant engagement, generating over 1.3 million hours viewed and drawing a peak concurrent audience exceeding 62,000 viewers. Featuring 160 professional players split across Northern and Southern divisions, the tournament offers a $50,000 prize pool alongside highly coveted slots for international advancement.
