Swedish esports organisation Alliance has announced a two-year extension of its partnership with gaming brand Razer. With the renewal, Razer will continue as Alliance’s main sponsor and exclusive peripheral partner through 2027.

As part of the deal, Alliance players and content creators will continue using Razer’s Pro line of gaming peripherals. Alliance will also continue working with Razer on product research and development by giving feedback from professional players to help improve future gaming hardware.

Over the next two years, fans can also expect several joint activities from the two brands. These include behind-the-scenes content from Alliance bootcamps, digital and physical giveaways, meet-and-greet sessions at major Tier-1 esports events, and continued upgrades to Alliance’s training facilities using Razer technology.

The partnership between Alliance and Razer first began in 2013, the same year Alliance was founded. That year also marked one of the organisation’s biggest moments in esports history, as Alliance won The International 3 in Seattle using Razer gear.

After spending a short period apart, Razer rejoined Alliance in 2019 when the organisation became fully player-owned. Since then, Razer has remained a key partner for Alliance across games such as Dota 2, Apex Legends, and Counter-Strike.

Jonathan Loda Berg, Co-Founder and CEO of Alliance, said: “Razer isn’t just a sponsor; they are part of our DNA. They were there when I was a captain and IGL in 2013, and they were the first to believe in us when we went independent in 2019. To extend this for another two years is a testament to a decade of shared values. Our players demand the best, and with Razer, we know they have the tools to win.”

Jeff Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer, said, “Alliance is one of the few organisations that has stayed true to a player-first philosophy while competing at the highest level. We’ve been with them since 2013, and this partnership is focused on one thing—giving their players a competitive edge with gear trusted by the world’s best. We’re excited to keep pushing that standard together.”

Besides renewing its long-running deal with Razer, Alliance has continued to add new commercial partners over the past year as the organisation looks to strengthen financial support for its competitive rosters. In December 2025, Alliance announced a major partnership with crypto casino Gamdom for supporting its Apex Legends and Counter-Strike 2 teams through bootcamps, performance coaching, and international competition.

In September 2025, Alliance also renewed its partnership with web3 game Valhalla for a second year, following what both sides described as a successful first year together. In June 2025, the organisation named OBSBOT as its official camera partner to improve content production and help showcase the personalities behind its players and teams.
