Publisher Riot Games has announced a major physical and structural overhaul to its European production hub ahead of VCT (VALORANT Champions Tour) EMEA Stage 2. Beginning on 15 July 2026, the competitive league will integrate regional Challengers League teams into its top-flight pipeline, expanding the seasonal schedule to a record number of match days.
To accommodate this higher density of tournament fixtures without disrupting the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC), Riot has constructed a second custom broadcast environment—named the Studio Stage—inside the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The creation of the Studio Stage establishes a dual-broadcast infrastructure that allows the LEC and VCT EMEA to operate and stream simultaneously from the exact same physical facility. According to Riot, the new space is engineered with a broadcast-first approach, optimised for high product customization and digital screen tailoring, meaning it will function as an online-only environment without live ticket sales.
Live studio audiences will remain anchored to the facility’s main stage, now officially rebranded as the Arena Stage. VCT EMEA Stage 2 will conduct its initial regular-season weeks on the broadcast-only Studio Stage before moving to the live Arena Stage for a single week of playoffs.
By offloading the heavy regular-season logistics onto a dedicated online broadcast set, Riot Games is redirecting its live-event capital into external international tours. The operational savings have directly funded a milestone expansion for the tactical shooter: taking the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals on the road to Barcelona, Spain, marking the first time the regional VALORANT finale leaves the Berlin facility. This strategy operates in parallel with Riot’s continued funding for high-visibility LEC Roadtrips, an institutional setup that the publisher expects to carry forward into the 2027 season.

The technical expansion in Berlin arrives during a pivotal summer roadmap for the tactical shooter. Detailed schedules for Stage 2 are set to be finalized immediately following the conclusion of VALORANT Masters London, which takes place at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 6 June through 21 June 2026.
To anchor the hype surrounding the UK event, Riot Games Music has teamed up with British rap artist Che Lingo to release the promotional cinematic video “Chaos in the House.” The track joins Riot’s digital music catalog, which according to the publisher have collectively amassed more than 700 million streams worldwide.
