BetBoom has finalized a partnership with ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) to sponsor and distribute the Brazilian broadcasts for all Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournaments organised by the company throughout 2026.

The agreement includes high-profile events such as the IEM Cologne Major and IEM Rio, effectively positioning BetBoom as the primary media rights holder in Brazil for the three largest tournament organisers in the world: ESL, PGL, and BLAST.

The deal covers a comprehensive 2026 schedule, including the ESL Pro League (Seasons 23 and 24) and several Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) stops. By securing these rights, BetBoom acts as a central broadcast gatekeeper for the Brazilian audience, one of the most active CS2 markets globally.

While the company produces its own studio content and utilizes its roster of ambassadors—including legends like GabrielFalleNToledo—it continues to sub-license and redistribute content to community figures such as AlexandreGaulesBorba, ensuring broad reach across traditional and influencer-led channels.

Global Esports Industry Week (GEIW) will return in 2026 with a bigger and bolder edition, taking place across 18–21 June in Cologne, Germany, alongside IEM Cologne. The schedule and details about ticket sales are available in this link.

Regarding the strategic consolidation of rights, Igor Savun, CMO of BetBoom LATAM, stated: “This is a strategic step to consolidate BetBoom as a partner in the Counter-Strike 2 ecosystem in Brazil. We are talking about the most traditional and relevant tournaments in the global scene, and our goal is to help deliver a high-level experience for the Brazilian community.”

The ESL partnership marks the final piece of a dominant year for BetBoom’s media division. In late 2025 and early 2026, the company secured exclusive Portuguese-language rights for BLAST Premier and a three-year deal with PGL, which includes the PGL Major Singapore 2026. This model represents a shift in the Brazilian landscape, moving away from fragmented rights toward a corporate-led distribution strategy that integrates BetBoom promotion directly into the broadcast experience.
