BLAST named the betting company BetBoom as the licensed media rights holder and exclusive betting partner for its Brazil and Latin America (LATAM) local-language broadcasts. The deal, which commences in 2026, aims to expand the reach of BLAST’s premier Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Dota 2 tournaments in a passionate regional market by collaborating on additional events, content, and live activations.

The partnership encompasses BLAST’s two major competitive ecosystems. It includes six BLAST Premier Counter-Strike events annually, four of which are arena shows, alongside four BLAST Slam Dota 2 tournaments per year.

As part of the collaboration, BetBoom will work with top regional streamers, talent, and influencers to enhance the broadcast production and viewing experience for fans. This strategy aims to localise and amplify BLAST’s content for Portuguese and Spanish-speaking audiences.

Alexander Lewin, SVP Commercial for BLAST, commented on the strategic expansion, stating: “This landmark deal will bring BLAST tournaments and the BetBoom brand to even wider audiences across Brazil and LATAM. BetBoom, with its focus on top-quality entertainment, will deliver a fantastic product to this very passionate community.”

Echoing the sentiment on regional growth, Stepan Dobrovolskiy, CEO at BetBoom LATAM, said: “This milestone allows us to bring BLAST to its largest audience ever, strengthening our esports ecosystem alongside FURIA, FalleN as our ambassador, and other best in class esports content creators. We’re excited to deliver world-class entertainment to an even wider Brazilian and LATAM audience.”

The deal significantly deepens BetBoom’s existing ties to the Latin American esports landscape. The company is already an official sponsor of Brazilian organisation FURIA, which points at granting broadcast rights to the organisation’s streaming channel MadHouse TV, and counts iconic Brazilian player Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo as a brand ambassador.
