BLAST has publicly disclosed all declared conflicts of interest involving players and teams ahead of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The tournament organiser has detailed various financial and contractual relationships to ensure fair competition in the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event.

While some the cases refer to players under lease or loan agreements, some disclosures are notable for revealing shares players hold at their former organisations and terms set on transfer agreements. See the most notable cases:

  • Jonathan EliGE Jablonowski (FaZe Clan): EliGE retains a 0.043% minority share in Team Liquid, his former team. Both parts pledged “to make sure that this conflict never impacts competition” and, according to the document “EliGE’s ownership stake is so small that there is no incentive or even motivation for him to consider the influence his ownership might have over Team Liquid” or to have any decision making power in the organisation structure.

  • Andrei arT Piovesan (Fluxo): The former FURIA player has a small share and holds the option “to acquire a certain number of shares in FURIA.” According to the document signed by FURIA, even if the option is fully exercised, arT’s stake would remain below 1%, with no access to confidential information or influence over internal policies.

  • Tim susp Ångström (Wildcard): Metizport has declared a financial interest in susp, including bonuses contingent on Wildcard’s qualification for the Major and a percentage of any potential transfer fee. Metizport asserts it holds no sway over Wildcard’s decisions or performances.

  • ErikztrGustafsson (Gamerlegion): Similar to susp’s case, Metizport declared “that a performance-based bonus arrangement is in place” concerning ztr and his team, applicable “to the upcoming Major in Texas and the subsequent Major scheduled for Q4”. The organisation then highlighted that the bonus “is of minor financial significance” and does not influence “Metizport’s operations, decision-making, or competitive integrity.”
