EA Sports has unveiled the structure for the third season of FC Pro, which begins later this month alongside the launch of EA FC 26.
Registration opens 19 September, the same day early access to the new title goes live. Players who reach Division 4 in Rivals can enter the Open Ladder (22 Sept – 1 Oct), the first step toward the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier at DreamHack Atlanta (31 Oct – 2 Nov), which will feature a 256-player open bracket.

The FC Pro Open runs through February with a $1m prize pool, weekly matches, and new “super weeks.” The season also includes Open Cups (Nov–Jan) and Pro Leagues, with all paths leading to the FC Pro World Championship, which returns with a $1.5m USD prize pool.
“Football and gaming fandom continue to converge in exciting ways, and FC Pro is at the centre,” said Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports at EA.
The news follows a record-breaking year for FC Pro 25, which reached 41m hours watched. This approach mirrors EA’s strategy in other flagship esports properties, such as the Madden Championship Series (MCS 26), which also ties large prize pools to seasonal structures to maintain both player and audience engagement.
