North American organisation ENVY has entered a new sponsorship agreement with ZOWIE, the esports-focused brand of BenQ. The deal names ZOWIE as the team’s Official Monitor Partner, reinstating a collaboration that first occurred a decade ago. This partnership aims to equip Envy’s competitive rosters with the professional-grade hardware dominant in tournament environments.
The new agreement was announced via a social media post. It marks a return to partnership for the two entities, which previously worked together in 2016. The deal will see ZOWIE provide its esports performance monitors to Envy’s players across its competitive titles.
In a post following the announcement, Mike ‘hastr0’ Rufail focused on the importance of quality equipment for competitive performance. “Really excited to have [ZOWIE] as the official monitor partner for [ENVY] again,” he stated. “Our gear is so important to us and it’s always great to be partners with the best.”

The partnership aligns strategically with Envy’s recent infrastructure investments. In 2025, the Dallas-based organisation announced the upcoming launch of a new esports Performance Lab in Fairview, Texas. The facility, designed for specialised training and bootcamps, is intended to feature high-end gaming equipment configured for professional play, such as the products offered by ZOWIE. The brand itself counts on its own esports labs, though none of them are based in America.
This new deal also aligns with ZOWIE’s continued strategic focus on the core competitive FPS scene as ENVY recently secured a spot in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas 2026. The brand recently reaffirmed its commitment to this sector by becoming the Official Monitor Partner for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest 2025 Counter-Strike 2 Major.
ZOWIE’s overarching strategy, as detailed in a recent editorial, centres on deep community integration rather than broad marketing, citing an approximate 88% usage rate among professional Counter-Strike players as evidence of its entrenched status.
