Publisher Epic Games and esports production company BLAST have announced that the Fortnite Global Championship 2026 will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 26-27 September 2026.
Moving to a brand new location for the competitive circuit, the season finale serves as the defining moment of the 2026 Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS), bringing the world’s best players together to compete for the year’s ultimate title. The destination was officially revealed over the weekend at the FNCS Major 1 Summit in Düsseldorf, Germany, establishing the final objective for players looking to secure their places through the months of qualification matches ahead.

The final event will feature a $2,000,000 USD prize pool alongside the official trophy crafted by silverware artisan Thomas Lyte. Positioned at the centre of the Benelux region, the choice of host city offers direct accessibility for international fans travelling from the Netherlands, France, Germany, and across Belgium. Organisers noted that an event of this scale is intended to showcase the cultural and economic impact that major international esports events can bring to the regional entertainment market.
The tournament layout anchors a broader 2026 competitive structure previously detailed by BLAST and Epic Games, which outlines a calendar of three separate Majors and total seasonal prize money exceeding $10,000,000.

This follows the operational framework of the 2025 Global Championship, which was held at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, and featured dedicated commercial partnerships with hardware brand ZOWIE and Danone‘s Volvic Juicy. Epic Games has further expanded its tournament footprint this year through a separate three-year agreement with the Esports Foundation (EF, then named Esports World Cup Foundation), integrating both Fortnite and Rocket League into the annual Esports World Cup roster.
