Riot Games’ upcoming fighting game, 2XKO, is officially joining the lineup as the Frosty Faustings XVIII event partner to offer a prize pool upgrade.
Originally announced with a $5,000 prize pool, the 2XKO Mixed Mode tournament is now leveling up to $50,000, making it one of the biggest fighting game prize pools Frosty Faustings has ever seen.

Riot Games’ partnership with Frosty Faustings XVIII stems from the 2XKO First Impact sponsorship program, which was launched in September 2025. The primary objective of the program is to support the overall competitive ecosystem of the game during its Early Access phase.
The Frosty Faustings tournament, one of the largest fighting game events in the United States, offers Riot Games a valuable platform to build early hype for the upcoming release of 2XKO—a strategic investment in community buzz rather than direct monetary return.
With the increase in prize money, the payouts are also expanding to cover the top 24 players, so more competitors will share in the action. Any duo teams finishing in the top 24 will split their winnings 50/50.
Frosty Faustings XVIII kicks off January 29 to February 1, 2026, in Lombard, Illinois, and registration is open now at Start.gg/FFXVIII.
