Esports media platform GosuGamers has officially launched the GosuBattles Grant Programme in the Philippines and India, aimed at strengthening grassroots esports through financial and operational support for local tournament organisers.

Organisers will be able to manage end-to-end competitions using GosuGamers’ tournament platform, GosuBattles, which supports titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings. The platform simplifies tournament logistics, including registration, brackets, match reporting, and post-event content, enabling organisers to build robust and engaging player experiences.

The initiative is designed to empower organisers by providing funding, guidance, and a dedicated platform to run structured community tournaments. Applications are now open for organisers looking to host their own events through the programme. GosuGamers is encouraging student groups, community leaders, and amateur organisers in the Philippines and India to fill the form two months ahead of the planned tournament’s date.

“We continue to see strong momentum for GosuBattles in Asia, especially the Philippines and India, with more organisers and players embracing the platform to create meaningful competitive experiences,” said Bryan Huang, Director of Growth and Strategy at GosuGamers. “The launch of the GosuBattles Grant Programme reflects our commitment to building grassroots esports from the ground up. This initiative gives local organisers the funding, tools, and visibility to bring their tournaments to life and grow lasting communities around them.”

The amount awarded through the grant will vary depending on the scale and impact of each event, with criteria such as the number of participating players and total sign-ups taken into account. Grant funds can be used for prize pools, technical setups, outreach, and content production. Selected tournaments will also be amplified through GosuGamers’ content and distribution channels.
