Gravity Media, a company that provides live production and broadcast services, has been confirmed as the host broadcast operations provider for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, organised by the Esports Foundation (EF).

As part of the agreement, Gravity Media is working alongside ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), which already serves as the Esports World Cup’s (EWC) official operations partner under a multi-year agreement.

The company’s primary operations include capturing events on camera, adding graphics and commentary, managing audio, and delivering the finished feed to broadcasters, streaming platforms, and other outlets worldwide. The announcement also highlighted that the team is currently on-site in Paris, where it is managing every aspect of the production, including the physical facilities, technical operations, video, audio, communications, and radio systems.

Gravity Media highlighted that to cover an event of this size, the company is running nine separate production lines, more than 60 video feeds at the same time, and over 21 RF (radio frequency) links, which let cameras send footage wirelessly. In total, the setup handles more than 3,500 video signals.

The camera side of the operation includes over 150 cameras, including cinematic cameras, cameras worn on players’ bodies, and other specialist equipment, along with four Techno Cranes (camera arms that can move over the action), three cable camera systems, and three drones. Finally, more than 150 crew members from over 35 countries are working on the production.

Esports Leaders Paris is on 21st August at the 5-star Hôtel du Collectionneur bringing together senior decision-makers in and around esports and gaming during the closing EWC weekend. Get your pass here.

Solène Zavagno, Gravity Media’s Global Account Director, said, “The Esports World Cup represents the scale, complexity and innovation that define modern live production. Delivering an event of this size requires a highly agile approach, close collaboration across teams and technology that can adapt to evolving requirements. Our global team has worked together to create a robust and future-proof broadcast operation that supports EFG and delivers an exceptional experience for esports fans around the world.”

While Gravity Media handles all the production tasks up to preparing a final feed, the end product is ultimately delivered to audiences by broadcast partners that EWC already has in place. For instance, in France, France Télévisions airs a daily highlights programme called La Minute EWC, while OTP (One Trick Production) has secured the French live broadcast rights for major EWC 2026 titles. Meanwhile, Naver’s CHZZK holds the exclusive Korean-language streaming rights for all 25 Esports World Cup titles this year.
