HEROIC has confirmed the promotion of Sam Molloy to Commercial Lead. Molloy announced the move on LinkedIn, stating he was “excited to continue working at the best organisation in esports” and highlighting that his team is still recruiting for commercial positions.
Molloy has been with the Oslo-based organisation for over a year and a half, first joining as Commercial Manager in March 2024 before stepping into his new role in July 2025. Alongside his work at HEROIC, he holds advisory positions with Nativz Gaming and Imprint Esports, and co-founded the Ireland Esports Collegiate Series in 2018. His previous industry experience includes serving as Global Esports Partnerships Manager at Pinnacle between August 2023 and March 2024.
The promotion comes as HEROIC expands its commercial activity as underscored by a partnership with monitor brand ZOWIE and the job openings announced by Molloy. Earlier this year, HEROIC also entered the Esports World Cup Foundation‘s Club Partner Program.
