Norwegian esports organisation HEROIC has announced a multi-year, multi-million dollar extension of its partnership with online casino and sportsbook operator Razed.
Following an initial one-year sponsorship signed in August 2025, the renewal extends the commercial relationship for an additional three years, keeping Razed as the primary front-of-jersey partner across HEROIC’s competitive Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) rosters.

Under the extended agreement, Razed’s branding will remain prominent on HEROIC’s official jerseys during international CS2 competition. The deal is meant to provide financial stability to support HEROIC’s competitive infrastructure and performance staff as the club seeks to return to tier-one championship contention.
“In recent years it has been easier to make people laugh than to maintain a competitive roster and lift trophies,” stated Joachim Harg, Chief Executive Officer of HEROIC. “With Razed committed for the next three years, we plan to do both. Having that kind of long-term backing is genuinely exciting and quite unique, particularly in a market that has been really challenging for esports orgs over the last few years.”
In May 2026, HEROIC disbanded its Dota 2 roster and exited the title’s competitive scene, citing financial reasons for ending its two-year tenure in the game. Shortly after the departure, the organisation lost its status as an Esports World Cup (EWC) Club Partner, paving the way for Karmine Corp to fill the vacant spot in the programme.
The partnership renewal will feature expanded joint activations, including collaborative social media content, behind-the-scenes player features, and VIP fan experiences, and highlights Razed’s aggressive commercial expansion within the Counter-Strike landscape. In addition to renewing with HEROIC, the gambling brand expanded its sponsorship presence in July 2026 by securing the main jersey partnership with German organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG).
“Our first year with HEROIC showed us exactly why we chose them — they are the most entertaining brand in global Counter-Strike,” added Ethan Johnson, Head of Esports at Razed. “The Counter-Strike landscape is seriously challenging and more competitive than ever, so our renewed commitment aims to assist in realising HEROIC’s ambitions from a competitive perspective.”
