HyperX is actively seeking licensing esports partnerships following its repositioning as the premier gaming brand for parent company HP. The move aims to establish long-term collaborations with teams and IP holders.
The company’s call for collaborations comes just weeks after it was unveiled as HP’s consolidated gaming master brand, uniting its portfolio with OMEN. In January 2026, HP unveiled a comprehensive restructuring of its gaming division, uniting OMEN and HyperX under one master gaming brand: HyperX.
The announcement, which debuted new hardware including laptops and monitors, positions the consolidated brand to deliver a complete end-to-end gaming experience.
Jessany van ‘t Hoff, Director of Gaming Business Development, Licensing and Personalisation Solutions at HP, has put out a call on LinkedIn for potential collaborators. “With HyperX now the gaming master brand, we’re actively exploring both inbound and outbound licensing partnerships as we continue to expand our portfolio.”

She emphasised the company’s interest in teams seeking to innovate, adding that HyperX aims to “build long-term strategic partnerships and create meaningful value for gamers.”
The restructuring follows HyperX’s acquisition by HP in 2021 and consolidates the company’s hardware lines under a single identity and signals a strategic shift toward broader brand integration.
In late 2025, HyperX and OMEN by HP were both unveiled as title sponsors for the European Halo Championship 2025. More recently, the brand has extended its footprint into Riot Games‘ flagship European competition as the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) confirmed a partnership with HyperX for its 2026 season. The LEC is scheduled to host five team-hosted Roadtrips in Spain and France, sponsored by HyperX, alongside its seasonal finals.
