RPG and MMO-focused gaming and esports organisation Method has appointed broadcaster and talent management executive Darren “KillerPigeon“ Elmy as its new Head of Partnerships.

The appointment fills the commercial leadership vacancy created by the recent departure of former partnerships lead Liam Whitehead, who joined Norwegian esports organisation HEROIC.

In his new executive role, Elmy will oversee Method’s global partnership portfolio, lead commercial strategy, and manage brand activations across the organisation’s competitive raiding, content, and event ecosystems.

Elmy brings an extensive background spanning talent management and esports broadcasting to Method’s executive operations. He founded Valiant Talent in May 2026, a gaming influencer agency representing digital content creators. His prior commercial and administrative experience includes serving as an Influencer Manager across agency networks.

In addition to his talent management career, Elmy is known for appearing as an on-camera desk host and commentator since 2018. He has been featured across major international esports properties, including Valve‘s The International 2022 (Dota 2), Electronic Arts‘ Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS), Red Bull Wololo, and ESL/DreamHack events. Elmy actually steps into the Head of Partnerships position after previously working with Method in a broadcast capacity during its World of Warcraft (WoW) Race to World First: Amirdrassil event in November 2023.

Addressing the appointment via official channels, Method invited commercial partners to collaborate with the organisation under Elmy’s direction: “We’re excited to welcome Darren Elmy as our new Head of Partnerships at Method! We’re always looking to build new partnerships and explore exciting opportunities.”

The management transition follows the exit of Liam Whitehead, who served over three years leading Method’s commercial unit. Prior to his move to HEROIC, Whitehead spearheaded several notable non-endemic and gaming hardware partnerships for Method, securing sponsorship agreements with peripheral brand Glorious, VPN provider ExpressVPN, and UK computer retailer SCAN ahead of the World of Warcraft: Midnight Race to World First event in 2026.
