MOONTON Games, the publisher of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), has formally adopted the dispute resolution framework provided by the International Games and Esports Tribunal (IGET).

The partnership will see IGET’s framework become the standard across MOONTON Games’ global operations. With this adoption, MOONTON Games now joins the likes of other industry entities such as the ESL FACEIT Group, Gamercraft, and NODWIN Gaming in integrating IGET’s specialised dispute resolution mechanisms.

At the announcement, MOONTON Games stated that this move aligns with its focus on fairness, transparency, and effective governance. The adoption signifies an effort to bring its competitive ecosystem in line with internationally recognised, sector-specific standards. The agreement was signed during the New Global Sports Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

IGET is a not-for-profit body established by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) in partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration and Mediation Center (WIPO AMC). It offers specialised Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services designed for the gaming and esports sector. The framework provides a pathway for resolving disputes concerning competitive integrity, contractual matters, and intellectual property conflicts.

Stephen Hanna, Executive Director of the IGET, commented on the agreement, stating: “We welcome MOONTON Games’ adoption of IGET’s framework as a forward-looking step in strengthening governance across the esports industry. By choosing IGET, MOONTON Games sets a positive precedent for how publishers can rely on IGET’s professional, independent, and purpose built dispute resolution processes.”

Cherry Xia, Head of Publishing at MOONTON Games, added: “We believe that strong governance and professional standards are the foundations of sustainable growth of esports. Adopting IGET’s framework reaffirms our commitment to fairness and integrity. Most importantly, it reflects our pledge to create thrilling game experiences, whilst also building an ecosystem where our players, teams, and partners can compete and collaborate with confidence.”
