Swedish esports company NIP Group, the subsidiary of Swedish esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) has extended its partnership with energy drink brand Red Bull.

As a result of the extension, the two parties will continue to collaborate on exclusive content series in addition to Red Bull branding integrating across its social media and streaming channels.

In addition to brand integration, NiP and Red Bull will join forces for several activations, including the CS Summit, a Counter-Strike event taking place at Stockholm’s Red Bull Gaming Sphere. The event provides industry stakeholders with the opportunity to ‘discuss and shape the future’ of the first-person shooter’s esports scene in the country.

The Red Bull logo will also feature on the jerseys of NiP’s range of esports rosters. Alongside Counter-Strike, the organisation also competes in League of Legends, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, EA Sports FC, Fortnite, and Street Fighter 6.

Red Bull is no stranger to the world of esports. The energy drink brand is a partner of European esports organisation OG Esports and also operates several gaming facilities across the world.

NiP and Red Bull first partnered in November 2022, and the brand is one of three partners of the organisation. In addition to the energy drink brand, partners include clothing brand FILA and electric car manufacturer BYD.

In January 2025, NiP overhauled its Counter-Strike roster, replacing four of the five players that represented the organisation during the 2024 season. In the same month, it ended its deal with Saudi Arabian organisation Team Falcons resulting in it withdrawing from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports.

“It has been a pleasure working with Red Bull over the past two years, collaborating on a series of highly successful projects,” said Hicham Chahine, Co-CEO of NiP Group.

“The more we work together, the clearer it has become that we align strongly on values and how to create meaningful experiences for our fans. We are truly delighted to continue this journey with them.”
